#MakeItMonday: Reusable kitchen towels

I am currently decorating my kitchen. I love nick nacks and general kitchen items laying around as part of a kitcheny feeling. One of these items are kitchen towels. I use them daily, sometimes 3-4 times a day so this works out quite expensive over the course of the week. I have made my own for quite some time now but i found this photo while browsing the net for ideas on how to store them which i thought was a fantastically frugal, no waste and space saving idea.

I love the idea of hanging them from a hook on the wall, can pull one off use it and shove straight into the washing machine.

As i have no sewing machine at present i had a google and come across a no sew option at Mommypotamus which i found really useful and easy to follow.

I have a couple of towels i managed to spill bleach on that i was going to turn into floor rags and some t shirts the kids have grown out of which would be great for making these. Best of all they take no more than 20 mins to make and cost nothing but your time!

This should keep me busy for this weeks craft :) All i have to do now is decide on the patterns!
