Make your own alcohol this Christmas

Like most people i like a little bit of a tipple around Christmas and new year. I really struggle to find the extra money though with everything going on the kids. I was lucky enough to speak to a lovely lady who said she has elderberries growing in her garden and that she often makes elderberry wine for Christmas. I thought this was a fantastic idea and she invited me to come pick what i wanted and gave me the recipe that she uses.

After making and sampling a bottle i began googling for other wines i could easily make and come across some really yummy sounding homemade alcohol! What i like about homemade booze is i can control the amount i put in so it is perfectly catered to our taste.

With the festive season looming i thought i would share some recipes with my readers. I have linked the original site i found it from which has the method to make it and just wrote the ingredients down.
