DIY starbucks lattes - in the slow cooker

Winter is coming, ive brought the hot chocolate and marshmallows and i'm reading for the dark evenings curled up under a quilt with a mug of hot liquid! Recently we have given up treats as we are having a financial blip which has meant my much loved fortnightly Starbucks has had to go :( I was told some time ago that a similar tasting Starbucks latte is possible to make using a coffee machine, something we do not own. Making it in a cup was ok but it was too coffee like for me. After looking around on pinterest i found some recipes for the slow cooker.

I have linked the original page i have found them as they are more detailed. I have just added the photo and their recipe on here.

Vanilla Creme Brulee Latte - Found via getcrocked.com

Chai latte - Found via crockpotladies.com

Caramel cider apple latte - Found via crockpot365

All follow the same basic directions for making them. Many are American so you may need to look online for a UK substitute but most are easy to find ingredients for or maybe something you have already in the house. Winter does not seem so glum anymore :)
