I saw this today while browsing pinterest. I was looking for ideas on keeping the heat indoors instead of slipping out the windows and doors.
I am however not sure what to make of this. Opinions on it vary, many say this works and is a fantastic idea. While i have never cared much for appearances... this does look ugly. As always i am willing to give it a go but i thought i would share in case others would like to try too or possibly have an opinion on it themselves.
Cost wise this is minimal and reminds me of the make shift sound proofing i done to my bedroom many years back with egg cartons. If this was to work, this could potentially save me alot of money in gas over the colder parts of winter. Something i am happy to choose over the appearance of my windows any day of the week!
Would anyone do this? I would love to hear your opinions.
